Elin Bergdal

Elin Bergdal (Master of Music) has studied music education at the Sibelius Academy, Helsinki. Throughout her studies she specialized in, among other subjects, early childhood music education, and music and movement with Soili Perkiö and Elisa Seppänen as her teachers. She has also participated in different Orff-courses in Finland arranged by the Finnish Orff Association, Ja Se Soi. Currently, Elin is teaching music in an elementary school in Mariefred, Sweden.

Clara Horbach

Clara Horbach studied elemental music pedagogy (BA) and music pedagogy for secondary school (master’s degree) at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Munich, Germany (2009-2016), gathering experience in teaching adults, youths, refugees and school children. In 2015 she completed Level I of the San Francisco International Orff Course. From 2016-2018 she worked at the city orphanage in Munich, teaching music and movement with young children; with teenaged refugees; assisting in music and dance integrative projects; holding monthly singing groups for children and geriatric patients; and giving piano lessons. Clara teaches music education at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich as an adjunct faculty member. She performs with several choirs in Munich, touring in Europe, Asia and the USA and is a vocal soloist in Munich.

Elina Simes

Elina Simes has a bachelor’s degree in Culture and Arts with a specialization in early childhood music education and arts integration from the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland. In addition to her studies there, she has studied music therapy in the open university of Sibelius Academy, Helsinki and has completed the Finnish Orff-level courses. She is passionate about music and movement and she loves to make up creative processes around songs. Elina has worked as a music educator for several years teaching piano students and music play-school groups. She is a board member in the Association for Early Childhood Music Educators in Finland.

Ezgi Tatar

Ezgi Tatar studied music education at the Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey from 2003 to 2007. She completed the three Level Courses of the Turkish Orff Association in 2015 and in 2016 she concluded a professional development course for teaching teachers. Ezgi participated in the 2016-2017 Special Course: “Advanced Studies in Music and Dance Education – Orff-Schulwerk” at the Mozarteum University/ Orff Institute. Since then she has been giving seminars in Turkey for the Anatolia Orff Project led by Güher & Süher Pekinel Anatolia Orff-Schulwerk Elemental Music and Dance Project in cooperation with the Turkish Orff Association. Currently, she is teaching children and adults as well as taking part in social responsibility projects.
