Christa Coogan

Christa Coogan is on the faculty of the University for Music and Performing Arts in Munich, Germany and is their outreach coordinator for activities with refugees. Her work with young people includes creating dance/music performances in schools and theaters throughout Germany. Christa has taught at the Orff Institute since 1993, is on the faculty of the San Francisco International Orff Course and teaches in Europe, Asia, North and South America as an Orff-Schulwerk movement specialist. Christa received her bachelor of fine arts degree in dance from the Juilliard School, New York and her master's degree in dance studies from the University of Salzburg.

Soili Perkiö

Soili Perkiö (Master of Music) has studied music education at the Sibelius Academy, Helsinki and in the Orff-Institute, Salzburg. She is specialized in music and movement, folk music and early childhood music education. Since 1995 Soili has been a lecturer in Sibelius Academy, Helsinki. She has taught at educational conferences on all continents. Soili has written over 70 music books and audio material for general music education, elementary school and early childhood music education.

Elisa Seppänen

Elisa Seppänen is a freelance music educator from Finland. She has a master's degree in music pedagogical studies from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. She is specialized in early childhood music education. She completed the Special Course studies at the Orff Institute, Salzburg in 2014-2015. Elisa works as a music teacher and runs workshops in music and movement both for children and teachers nationally and internationally. Up to now, she has been informally mentored by Soili Perkiö. Elisa was part of the team of educators from the nordic countries who developed the Nordic Sounds project and publications.
